Lea Hernandez is the pioneering webcomicker and multiple-Eisner nominated creator and owner of Rumble Girls: Runaway Lightning Ohmry (currently serialized at webcomicsnation.com/divalea), the manga technique instruction book Manga Secrets (Impact Books), the sci-fi pop series Rumble Girls: Silky Warrior Tansie (NBM), Killer Princesses (with Gail Simone, (Oni Press), the acclaimed Texas Steampunk graphic novels Cathedral Child (Cyberosia, June 2002), Clockwork Angels (Cyberosia, December 2002), and Near-Life Experience (ModernTales.com, 2002).
Work-for-hire projects include Marvel Mangaverse Punisher (with writer Peter David, and the re-writing half of the translation team on 3x3 Eyes, What's Michael and Oh! My Goddess for Studio Proteus/Dark Horse Comics, and pages for Transmetropolitan #33, Transmetropolitan: I Hate It Here, The Big Book of Wild Women. (DC Comics).
In the previous century, Lea was the originator of Wizard's anime and manga column, artist for Disney Comics and Disney Adventures Magazine, The Big Book of Urban Myths), Brain Bomb, GT Labs' Dignifying Science, cover artist for Giles Poitras' The Anime Companion, just to name a few.
Lea is one of a handful of women who has written and drawn a creator-owned comics series for a major American publisher (Rumble Girls).
In addition to her comics work, Lea was a vice-president in the legendary animation studio Gainax (Evangelion, Furi-Kuri), a professional film-cutter, awning seamtress, and Nebula-recommended short fiction author.
Lea is the mother of two special-needs kids, married twenty-two years to the same aggravating man, attracts animals in need of rescuing, wired her own house for cable and phone and built her own kitchen cabinets.

That's great work, Lea. I was really knocked out by the exterior in the Steampunk thing. Very clean look, with that slightly quaint/antique look. Very impressive.
